When a candidate enrols in a program with a Partner Higher Educational Institute (“HEI”) of Virohan and/ or makes the first payment, a legal promise is made to follow the candidate policy, which is also accepted digitally. Upon acceptance of the candidate policy, Virohan and its Partner HEI (“Parties”) agree to provide the program for which the candidate has enrolled (“Programs”).
It is expressly recognized that the candidate is a student of the HEI and shall be governed by the policy of the HEI and its arrangement with Virohan, including the candidate policy.
Please note that the entirety of the refund policy below is in consonance of the above arrangement with the HEI as notified by them for all students of the Programs. In exceptional situations or when Virohan processes refunds on behalf of an HEI, it will do so in accordance with the HEI’s instructions and this Policy subject to the terms of the arrangement with the HEI.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, refunds shall primarily remain the responsibility of the Partner HEI wherever Virohan refunds or processes any fees on their behalf. The same shall be governed as per applicable law and guidelines of specific statutory authorities for the relevant Programs.
Non-Refundable Fees
Virohan follows the refund policies of its Partner HEIs. The following fee heads are ordinarily treated as non-refundable in line with HEI policy, subject to applicable law:
In case any candidate/student is dropped out due to any reason including but not limited to indiscipline, non-payment of fees, shortage in attendance, etc. any fee paid shall be deemed as forfeited and no refund shall be applicable.
Exceptional Circumstances
In the event of exceptional circumstances, where Virohan and/ or the HEI are unable to deliver the training/ Programs, candidates/students may be eligible for a refund on a case-to-case basis. Any refunds processed shall be at the sole discretion of the Parties.
Virohan reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is the responsibility of candidates/students to review the Refund Policy periodically. Please note that this Refund Policy is intended to provide a general overview of our refund process.
