Applicability & Scope
Prospective candidates must mandatorily read this entire Legal Disclosures
section with care before applying for the program. These
disclosures are incorporated by reference into the Candidate Policy accepted
by you upon joining any program. These disclosures may change or be updated
from time to time. Such updates shall be effective and binding in the manner
set out in the Candidate Policy and to the maximum extent permitted by
applicable law. Any change in these disclosures issued by Virohan is deemed
to be accepted by you. Candidates are advised to review these Legal
Disclosures periodically for updates. All sections of this legal disclosure
and the Candidate Policy are to be read harmoniously and shall be binding to
all the candidates.
General
Excelling in a career requires consistent effort, commitment, and a
willingness to learn. Aspirants must take an active role in their growth to
make the most of the opportunities provided. Virohan assists Higher
Education Institutions ("HEI") as an Industry Partner for Healthcare.
Admissions & Batches
-
Virohan facilitates the admission process into the HEI but does not play
any role in granting admission. The final decision rests solely with the
HEI, which also reserves the right to change its admission policy and
cancel admission at any stage.

Incomplete documentation for admission may lead to admission being
cancelled.
-
Any delay in payment of fees may lead to penalty(s), admission being
cancelled, or any other adverse action as deemed necessary by the HEI
and/or Virohan.
-
Batch launch dates and timings communicated at the time of applying are
tentative and subject to change or cancellation by the HEI at any time.
-
Upon admission, candidates must follow all policies of the HEI and
Virohan. Failure to do so may result in admission being cancelled.
Education, Exams and Degree Completion
-
All education-related formalities (e.g. time table, academic calendar,
delivery of lectures etc) fall under the scope of the HEI.
-
All examination-related formalities (e.g., date sheets, admit cards etc.)
fall under the scope of the HEI. Virohan does not issue date sheets, admit
cards etc.
-
Completion of Award (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree) is not guaranteed - it
depends on:
- Meeting minimum attendance and exam requirements.
- Completing coursework, practical training and internship.
-
Performance, commitment, and self-motivation of the candidate etc.
-
Virohan has no involvement in the final decision taken by the HEI for
award of its qualifications to the candidate (certificate, diploma, degree
etc.).
Internship
-
Internships are facilitated, not guaranteed - candidate selection by
employer depends on industry demand and candidate performance.
-
Stipends are not assured. Employers decide the amount, if any, based on
skills and role.
-
Internship locations can be anywhere in India or abroad. Candidates must
be prepared to relocate (at their own cost), if required.
-
Candidates must follow all workplace policies, including attendance,
professionalism and performance standards.
-
Workplace policies are set by employers. Virohan has no say in the
employers' internal matters.
Jobs
-
Jobs are not guaranteed. Candidates must actively apply and attend
interviews during the 60 days of support provided by Virohan.
-
Job opportunities can be anywhere in India or abroad. Candidates must be
prepared to relocate (at their own cost), if required.
-
Eligibility for any public sector employment is not guaranteed.
Eligibility criteria for public sector employment is set at the sole
discretion of the competent authority and Virohan has no say over the
same.
Scope of Work
Understanding Virohan and its Scope of Work
Virohan Private Limited ("Virohan") is an approved training partner of the
National Skill Development Corporation ("NSDC") and works with Higher
Education Institutions ("HEIs") as an industry partner for delivery of
skill-oriented, NSQF-aligned training as part of the education curriculum.
Virohan is an independent organization and does not act as the agent,
representative, franchisee, admission office or authorised signatory of any
HEI.
Virohan's Scope of Work may include the following:

Industry Training (Skill component only): Provide skill
training using modern blended learning (mix of technology + classroom).

Platform for Skill Assessment (App): Provide access to a
digital platform that enables candidates to evaluate their understanding
of the skill education component.
-
Internships & job opportunities: Connect candidates with
hospitals, labs, recruiters etc. to facilitate internships and job
opportunities.
-
Promotion of the Program: Handle promotion, counselling,
acceptance processes and candidate experience.
-
Tech Platform: Enable easy payment options for candidates
as per the Agreement with the HEIs.
Please note:
Virohan is only an industry skilling and training partner and:
-
is not the admitting institution or HEI or a recognized
allied and healthcare institution under the NCAHP Act, 2021;
-
does not control academic calendar, curriculum, admission
criteria, intake cycles etc;
- does not conduct or control HEIs examinations;
-
does not issue date sheets, exam results, mark sheets,
transcripts, or diplomas/ degrees;
-
does not control the nomenclature of the qualification
awarded by the Partner HEI; and
-
does not maintain the official academic records of
candidates.
Any approval by NSDC to Virohan:
-
does not make it the admitting institution or HEI or a
recognized allied and healthcare institution under the NCAHP Act, 2021;
- does not confer diploma/ degree-awarding powers,
-
does not make any certificates issued as an NSDC Training
Partner, a diploma/ degree;
-
does not constitute recognition under UGC or NCAHP act
and
-
does not imply regulatory approval of any diploma/ degree
or university program.
Understanding the HEIs' Scope of Work
Higher Education Institution ("HEI") refers to the relevant university,
college, or other awarding institution that is independently responsible for
admissions, examinations, and award of qualifications.
The HEIs' shall be solely responsible for the following scope of work:

Approvals: Ensure all UGC and other statutory
permissions, approvals and follow all required academic and regulatory
processes.

Nomenclature and Curriculum: Approve the nomenclature and
curriculum of the program for award of credits.
-
Admissions: Grant admissions to the candidates in the
programs run in collaboration with Industry Partner basis their
eligibility criteria, documentary requirements and issue admission related
documents (including enrolment ID, issue of ID card etc). For all intents
and purposes, a candidate is a student of the HEI. For all intents and
purposes, a candidate is a student of the HEI.

Delivery of Education: Deliver all education, other than
the skill components.
-
Conduct Exams and related procedures: Conduct exams
(including issuing date sheets, admit cards, question papers), declare
results, award marks and credits, issue marksheets & transcripts.
-
Award of Qualifications: Provide the certificate/
diploma/ degree (as applicable) as per their policy.
-
Student Support & Grievance: Address student grievances
in line with applicable law.
-
Infrastructure and Facilities: Provide classrooms, labs,
utilities and all other facilities required to run the program in line
with applicable law.
Important Disclosures basis the above Scope of Work:
-
The legal and academic relationship for the purpose of above scope of work
is exclusively between the Student and the Partner HEI. Virohan does not
have authority to grant admission, confirm eligibility, issue enrolment,
award credits, issue any academic document or perform any other scope of
work of HEI mentioned above.

Unless expressly confirmed by the competent authority, the qualification
awarded by the Partner HEI should neither be assumed to be equivalent for
public sector employment or for eligibility under any public-sector rules
nor any statutory registration. Aspirants should conduct their own due
diligence for determining the same.
-
Virohan does not provide any guarantees for the scope of the HEI,
internship/ job opportunities (with or without stipend or salary, as
applicable) or any statutory registration including registration with
professional councils.
-
All programs offered by HEIs, in collaboration with Virohan, are offered
in regular mode, with in-person delivery, using blended learning pedagogy.
Online instruction may occur only in exceptional circumstances.
-
Virohan shall not be responsible or liable (to the maximum extent
permissible by law) for any matter that falls within the partner HEI’s
scope of work. Any claims or queries relating to such matters must be
raised directly with the partner HEI in accordance with its policies,
processes and applicable law.

Any statement or promise (verbal or written) that conflicts with these
Legal Disclosures and/or the Candidate Policy shall be non-binding on
Virohan, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, unless
expressly confirmed in writing by Virohan via legal@virohan.org.
NCAHP
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Higher Education Institution (“HEI”) offering the program in
collaboration with Virohan is a duly established and legally recognised
university, constituted under an Act of the appropriate State Legislature
(in the case of Private Universities) and/or notified in accordance with
applicable law (in the case of Private Universities and Institutions Deemed
to be Universities).
HEI is mandated to function and offer programs in accordance with its Act,
Notifications, Statutes, Ordinances, applicable UGC and regulatory norms
etc. The qualifications awarded upon successful completion are issued by the
HEI within the scope of its legally conferred powers.
The recognition status of the HEI may be independently verified on the
official website of the University Grants Commission (UGC) at
www.ugc.gov.in
or such other official portal as may be notified by UGC from time to time
For 2026-27 Academic year
Representations by Virohan for its Scope of Work:
Virohan is not recognised as an Allied and Healthcare Institution under the
National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (“NCAHP
Act”) for award of any allied and healthcare qualifications.
Virohan has no control, role, or influence over how the NCAHP or any State
Allied & Healthcare Council (SAHCs) frames or interprets guidelines, whether
at present or in the future, regarding the recognition of programs,
including but not limited to, Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelors, B.Sc.
and/or B.Voc programs (offered by Partner HEIs), and that Virohan will not
be liable for any such regulatory decisions or changes. NCAHP recognition is
not guaranteed. Aspirants should conduct their own due diligence before
applying.
Accordingly, Virohan:
-
does not claim or represent that the programs offered by
HEIs in collaboration with it, are recognised under the NCAHP Act;
-
does not promise to obtain such recognition in the
future;
-
does not promise statutory registration or professional
licensure after the completion of the program;
-
does not represent that completion of the program confers
any statutory right to practise or employment or guarantee any job; and
-
does not claim any skill certificates issued in its
capacity as an Approved Training Partner of NSDC are recognised allied and
healthcare qualification under the NCAHP Act.
Representations by Virohan for the Scope of Work of HEIs under
collaboration arrangements: (As on 1st January 2026)
Unless expressly stated otherwise by the relevant Partner HEI through its
official channels to Virohan and the candidates the Allied and Healthcare
programs offered by the Partner HEI during the present regulatory phase are
not recognised under the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare
Professions Act, 2021 (“NCAHP Act”).
Virohan does not represent, warrant, assure, or undertake
in any form or capacity that HEIs it has entered into collaboration with:

are recognised or claim to be recognised as an Allied and Healthcare
Institution under the NCAHP Act for any qualifications and/or programs;
-
shall obtain such recognition under the NCAHP Act in the future; or any
such future recognition, if obtained, will apply retrospectively.
-
provide “recognised qualifications” under the NCAHP Act or qualifications
that entitle candidates, merely by reason of completion of the program to
any statutory registration, enrolment or licensure.
From time to time, HEIs in collaboration with Virohan may:
-
Update or modify the curriculum, policies, internal processes etc in line
with prescribed norms of the NCAHP, applicable SAHC and/or any other
applicable regulation.
-
apply for recognition through the Academic Year in line with the
applicable regulations and guidelines released, as and when notified by
the competent authority
Such curriculum and policy alignment or application process does not, in any
form and manner constitute recognition under the NCAHP Act or approval by
any SAHC or entitle the candidate to statutory registration or professional
licensure, unless stated otherwise in writing by the HEI through its
official channels.
No Reliance and Binding Acknowledgement
By submitting an application and/or accepting admission into any program
offered by Partner HEIs in collaboration with Virohan, all candidates
acknowledge that:

they have not relied on any representation regarding NCAHP or SAHC
recognition or statutory registration; and
-
application is made and further steps are undertaken by the candidate with
full knowledge of the current regulatory position and disclosures made
herein.
Candidates who do not agree with this Legal Disclosure must not apply for
the programs offered by the HEIs in collaboration with Virohan. The
disclosures made:
-
are incorporated by reference into the Candidate Policy accepted at the
time of application & enrolment to the HEI;
-
prevail over all inconsistent promotional or counselling material; and
- are binding upon all applicants and enrolled candidates.
Any claim, ask for refund, grievance, or proceeding raised in the future on
the ground of ignorance, misunderstanding, or non-awareness of the contents
of this disclosure after submission of an application and/or acceptance of
admission in programs of HEIs offered in collaboration with Virohan shall,
to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, not be raised against
Virohan.
Until 2025-26 Academic Year
-
Virohan is not an "Allied and Healthcare Institution" as defined in the
National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021
(“NCAHP Act”) and does not provide any "allied and healthcare
qualification" as defined in the Act.
-
Virohan has no control, role, or influence over how the NCAHP or any State
Allied & Healthcare Council (SAHCs) frame or interpret any guidelines,
whether at present or in the future, including but not limited to
grandfathering of admitted or passed out candidates, recognition of
qualifications offered in collaboration with Partner HEIs etc. and Virohan
will not be liable for any such regulatory decisions or changes.

No claim shall lie against Virohan (whether directly or indirectly) in
relation to any recognition with NCAHP, SAHCs or any statutory
registration or professional licensure post completion of the Program
SureStart
"Surestart" refers to a structured, curriculum-aligned
internship opportunity or potential job opportunity for eligible candidates.
It is offered under a collaboration for workforce-linkage with a healthcare
employer ("SureStart Partner").
-
A candidate shall be considered for SureStart only upon receiving the
Conditional Offer Letter ("Letter") provided by the
SureStart Partner. Any claims or promises, whether verbal or in writing,
in conflict with the Letter, are not valid. Please read the Letter
carefully.
-
The contents of the Letter may be subject to change/ modification by the
SureStart Partner.
-
In case of such modification, the SureStart Partner will issue a
revised Letter directly to the Candidate.
-
Furthermore, the Letter is between the SureStart Partner and the
Candidate and no third party, including Virohan, has any vested
interest/ liability in the same.
-
A Candidate shall only be considered for an internship opportunity within
SureStart upon:
-
successfully passing the classroom and lab component of the program
and
-
fulfilling any other criteria laid down by the SureStart Partner.
-
A Candidate shall only be considered for a job opportunity within
SureStart upon:
- successfully passing the program including internship
-
fulfilling any other criteria laid down by the SureStart Partner.
-
In case the candidate is unable to pass the program, the SureStart offer
is null and void. (S)he may also lose the SureStart opportunity in case
any disciplinary action is initiated against him/her.
-
Not with standing the above:
-
Virohan has no role to play beyond facilitation and does not make any
commitments on behalf of the SureStart Partner to the candidate.
-
Virohan is not liable in case the SureStart Partner does not provide
internship or job opportunities to the accepted candidates.
