Applicability & Scope
Prospective candidates must mandatorily read this entire Legal Disclosures section with care before applying for the program. These disclosures are incorporated by reference into the Candidate Policy accepted by you upon joining any program. These disclosures may change or be updated from time to time. Such updates shall be effective and binding in the manner set out in the Candidate Policy and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Any change in these disclosures issued by Virohan is deemed to be accepted by you. Candidates are advised to review these Legal Disclosures periodically for updates. All sections of this legal disclosure and the Candidate Policy are to be read harmoniously and shall be binding to all the candidates.
General
Excelling in a career requires consistent effort, commitment, and a willingness to learn. Aspirants must take an active role in their growth to make the most of the opportunities provided. Virohan assists Higher Education Institutions ("HEI") as an Industry Partner for Healthcare.
Admissions & Batches
- Virohan facilitates the admission process into the HEI but does not play any role in granting admission.
- The final decision rests solely with the HEI, which also reserves the right to change its admission policy and cancel admission at any stage.
- Incomplete documentation for admission may lead to admission being cancelled.
- Any delay in payment of fees may lead to penalty(s), admission being cancelled, or any other adverse action as deemed necessary by the HEI and/or Virohan.
- Batch launch dates and timings communicated at the time of applying are tentative and subject to change or cancellation by the HEI at any time.
- Upon admission, candidates must follow all policies of the HEI and Virohan. Failure to do so may result in admission being cancelled.
Education, Exams and Degree Completion
- All education-related formalities (e.g. time table, academic calendar, delivery of lectures etc) fall under the scope of the HEI.
- All examination-related formalities (e.g., date sheets, admit cards etc.) fall under the scope of the HEI.
- Virohan does not issue date sheets, admit cards etc.
- Completion of Award (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree) is not guaranteed - it depends on:
- Meeting minimum attendance and exam requirements.
- Completing coursework, practical training and internship.
- Performance, commitment, and self-motivation of the candidate etc.
- Virohan has no involvement in the final decision taken by the HEI for award of its qualifications to the candidate (certificate, diploma, degree etc.).
Internship
- Internships are facilitated, not guaranteed - candidate selection by employer depends on industry demand and candidate performance.
- Stipends are not assured. Employers decide the amount, if any, based on skills and role.
- Internship locations can be anywhere in India or abroad.
- Candidates must be prepared to relocate (at their own cost), if required.
- Candidates must follow all workplace policies, including attendance, professionalism and performance standards.
- Workplace policies are set by employers. Virohan has no say in the employers' internal matters.
Jobs
- Jobs are not guaranteed.
- Candidates must actively apply and attend interviews during the 60 days of support provided by Virohan.
- Job opportunities can be anywhere in India or abroad. Candidates must be prepared to relocate (at their own cost), if required.
- Eligibility for any public sector employment is not guaranteed.
- Eligibility criteria for public sector employment is set at the sole discretion of the competent authority and Virohan has no say over the same.
Scope of Work
Understanding Virohan and its Scope of Work
Virohan Private Limited ("Virohan") is an approved training partner of the National Skill Development Corporation ("NSDC") and works with Higher Education Institutions ("HEIs") as an industry partner for delivery of skill-oriented, NSQF-aligned training as part of the education curriculum. Virohan is an independent organization and does not act as the agent, representative, franchisee, admission office or authorised signatory of any HEI.
Virohan's Scope of Work may include the following:
- Industry Training (Skill component only): Provide skill training using modern blended learning (mix of technology + classroom).
- Platform for Skill Assessment (App): Provide access to a digital platform that enables candidates to evaluate their understanding of the skill education component.
- Internships & job opportunities: Connect candidates with hospitals, labs, recruiters etc. to facilitate internships and job opportunities.
- Promotion of the Program: Handle promotion, counselling, acceptance processes and candidate experience.
- Tech Platform: Enable easy payment options for candidates as per the Agreement with the HEIs.
Understanding the HEIs' Scope of Work
Higher Education Institution ("HEI") refers to the relevant university, college, or other awarding institution that is independently responsible for admissions, examinations, and award of qualifications.
The HEIs' shall be solely responsible for the following scope of work:
- Approvals: Ensure all UGC and other statutory permissions, approvals and follow all required academic and regulatory processes.
- Nomenclature and Curriculum: Approve the nomenclature and curriculum of the program for award of credits.
- Admissions: Grant admissions to the candidates in the programs run in collaboration with Industry Partner basis their eligibility criteria, documentary requirements and issue admission related documents (including enrolment ID, issue of ID card etc).
- For all intents and purposes, a candidate is a student of the HEI.
- Delivery of Education: Deliver all education, other than the skill components.
- Conduct Exams and related procedures: Conduct exams (including issuing date sheets, admit cards, question papers), declare results, award marks and credits, issue marksheets & transcripts.
- Award of Qualifications: Provide the certificate/ diploma/ degree (as applicable) as per their policy.
- Student Support & Grievance: Address student grievances in line with applicable law.
- Infrastructure and Facilities: Provide classrooms, labs, utilities and all other facilities required to run the program in line with applicable law.
NCAHP
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Higher Education Institution ("HEI") offering the program in collaboration with Virohan is a duly established and legally recognised university, constituted under an Act of the appropriate State Legislature or notified in accordance with applicable law. HEI is mandated to function and offer programs in accordance with its Act, Notifications, Statutes, Ordinances, applicable UGC and regulatory norms etc. The recognition status of the HEI may be independently verified on the official website of the University Grants Commission (UGC) at www.ugc.gov.in.
For 2026-27 Academic year
- Virohan is not recognised as an Allied and Healthcare Institution under the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 ("NCAHP Act") for award of any allied and healthcare qualifications.
- Virohan has no control, role, or influence over how the NCAHP or any State Allied & Healthcare Council (SAHCs) frames or interprets guidelines regarding the recognition of programs.
- NCAHP recognition is not guaranteed.
- Virohan does not claim or represent that the programs offered by HEIs in collaboration with it, are recognised under the NCAHP Act.
- Virohan does not promise to obtain such recognition in the future.
- Virohan does not promise statutory registration or professional licensure after the completion of the program.
- By submitting an application, all candidates acknowledge they have not relied on any representation regarding NCAHP or SAHC recognition or statutory registration.
SureStart
"Surestart" refers to a structured, curriculum-aligned internship opportunity or potential job opportunity for eligible candidates. It is offered under a collaboration for workforce-linkage with a healthcare employer ("SureStart Partner").
- A candidate shall be considered for SureStart only upon receiving the Conditional Offer Letter ("Letter") provided by the SureStart Partner.
- Any claims or promises, whether verbal or in writing, in conflict with the Letter, are not valid.
- The contents of the Letter may be subject to change/ modification by the SureStart Partner.
- The Letter is between the SureStart Partner and the Candidate and no third party, including Virohan, has any vested interest/ liability in the same.
- A Candidate shall only be considered for an internship opportunity within SureStart upon successfully passing the classroom and lab component of the program and fulfilling any other criteria laid down by the SureStart Partner.
- In case the candidate is unable to pass the program, the SureStart offer is null and void.
- Virohan has no role to play beyond facilitation and does not make any commitments on behalf of the SureStart Partner to the candidate.
- Virohan is not liable in case the SureStart Partner does not provide internship or job opportunities to the accepted candidates.
