Diwali Celebration at Virohan Faridabad Campus

Table of Contents

Hello everyone greetings from editorial club!!

We celebrated Diwali at our campus (Virohan institute of health and management sciences, Faridabad) on 22nd October 2022.

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is a festival celebrated in almost all parts of India. It is an Indian festival that marks the victory of good over bad (evil). It is a festival celebrated by Indians with great enthusiasm. The festival commemorates joy, harmony, and victory. It also marks the return of Lord Ram from exile, which is described in the epic Ramayana. So, this festival is
celebrated by lighting lamps (usually earthen lamps) all around the world. It also symbolises light as the victory over darkness. So, to remove the darkness we lighten up our Virohan campus with lots of lights and positivity, because like Shri Ram, we are also fighters. We fight against various diseases to make patients healthy.

Activities are as followers:

  •  They decorated classrooms with different themes. They make posters on the theme of paramedics.
  •  They made rangoli and explained the meaning of their rangolis.

Students signified the importance of Diwali and promised to attain the qualities of Shri Ram.
They also promised that like Shri Ram we all will fight the evil of society.
Students enjoyed the day by decorating the classrooms, making rangolis, brought homemade food, sweets to enjoy the day.
To make this day memorable we all clicked pictures of the activities performed.

Every activity was planned for all the students for the morning and evening batch. This event was not only for students, but also for our very own gurus, that is our Teachers. Some exciting games and activities were planned for teachers as well. But before that, taking the blessings from lord Ganesha was compulsory. So everyone took the blessings of lord Ganesha and Maa Laxmi for more growth and luck. After that it was time for fun activities.

Everyone presented their talent via dance, ramp walk or singing. All these people deserve sweets on the day of sweets. So CCEO Ma’am facilitated all winners. The whole Diwali event was successfully organised by the editorial club. But the charm of editorial has not vanished yet. We will come with another event with great activities and with lots of fun.
