Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) is a not-for- profit organization with the key objective to create a robust and vibrant eco-system for quality vocational education and skill development in allied healthcare space in the country. The council is also implementing standards, training, accreditation and rewards to healthcare professionals. At Virohan, students are taught according to the National Occupational Standard Curricula and Qualification Packs prepared by HSSC on basis of skill requirements that makes them eligible for any government or semi-government jobs in any Healthcare Organization.
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a unique initiative by the Government of India that aims to offer 24 lakh Indian Youth meaningful, industry relevant, skill Sbased training. Under this scheme, the trainees will be offered a financial reward and a government certification on successful completion of training and assessment, which will help them in securing a job for a better future.
National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) scheme has been formulated to impart IT training to 52.5 lakh Indian Youth, including Anganwadi and ASHA workers and authorised ration dealers in all the States/UTs across the country so that the non-IT literate citizens are trained to become IT literate so as to enable them to actively and effectively participate in the democratic and developmental process and also enhance their livelihood.
National Skill Development Corporation is a Public Private Partnership in India under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. It aims to provide skill development. NSDC provides funding to build scalable, for-profit vocational training initiatives. NSDC’s objective is to contribute significantly skilling/up-skilling 400 million people in India by 2022 through private sector Initiatives in Skill Development programmes and to provide funding.
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)
Virohan has a vision to create a vibrant and all encompassing platform for CSR (corporate social responsibility) thought and action. Virohan believes in a holistic development of the poor in rural areas. It had conducted varies health camps in rural areas from time to time over the last few years so that the disease prevalence will be less and the poor who are not in a position to afford medical treatment can be benefited out of it. We tend to contribute towards the development of societies in which we operate.
